华人给9号电视台的一封投诉邮件（另附投诉链接）

今天，本报收到华人网友发给9号电视台，关于《60分钟》节目涉及华裔的歧视问题的投诉：

To Whom it may concerned,
I am a loyal follower of 9 news “60 minutes”.
However, in your programme “War with China” dated 21/09/2021, I have to pointed out two issues:
1, As per the 1972 “JOINT COMMUNIQUE OF THE AUSTRALIAN GOVERNMENT AND THE
GOVERNMENT OF THE PEOPLE’S REPUBLIC OF CHINA
CONCERNING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF DIPLOMATIC

Taiwan is a province of China, NOT a country. This mistake shows the producers of “60 minutes” are lack of basic common sense, or was led to wantonly disrupt the relationship between the two countries.
What if China’s CCTV one day states that TAS/WA is another country besides Australia?

2, In this program, 9 news is talking about “sending Chinese just like Japanese prisoned into concerntration camp in WW2”, what a rediculous subject, are you crazy to publicly talking about this? Is there any shareholder of 9 news Nazi, Hiltler？
Will you talk about prisoning other race- middle east people, black people, Israel people into camp? Can you just try?

You guys can talk about “war with China”, but you cannot
cross the Australia’s national bottom line to spread rumor, to hurt Chinese community. Who give you the right to represent Australia taling about nonsense?

This is a very discriminative and offensive program to the Chinese community and I have collected all the proofs, I hereby request 9 news apologize formally, publicly. Your program has caused great indignation in the Chinese community.
ONCE THERE IS NO REPONSE, I WILL SUBMIT TO HIGHER DEPARTMENT.

你会谈论把其他种族–中东人、黑人、以色列人关进集中营的事吗？你可以试试吗？

你们可以谈论 “与中国的战争”，但你们不能
越过澳大利亚的国家底线，散布谣言，伤害华人社区。谁给你们的权利代表澳大利亚胡说八道的？

这是一个非常歧视和冒犯华人的节目，我已经收集了所有证据，我在此要求9号新闻正式公开道歉。你们的节目已经在华人社区引起了极大的愤慨。
